Sindustie had a full line-up of DJs. Founder and Fadeopian Aegis started things off at 10 PM with slo beats, trip-hop, and electro. At 10:45, Fernando dipped into his vinyl and pulled together a lush set of early '90's industrial. DJ Ezra made his Sindustrie debut at 11:30, and proved some skills blending industrial and new wave. At around 12:10, I stepped up and played my set. I made an effort to overlap tracks as often as I could, making mutant hybrids. I let Falco sing over the end of "Join in the Chant", and, goddamn - laying some Chemical Brothers beats over the Eurythmics just felt so right.

Oh, yeah. The Rose McGowan made it's first appearance as the Sindustrie special. Yum. Drink more.
